Remembering my classmates, after few years,
My eyes were filled with tears,
Everyone is busy a lot,
No one escaped destiny's plot,
Saw the girl, whom once I thought as my best friend,
Oops! Today she is some body else's girl friend,
After months remembered about her for a little while,
Heard she is happy, that made me smile,
Project reviews to campus interviews,
Nicknames to last bench games,
Cultural rehearsals to love proposals,
Short term crushes to classroom blushes,
Everything is fresh in our mind,
Wish life could just rewind,
Lets laugh, play and rejoice,
Once again become college guys,
Chatting and laughing. We all were in elation,
Till the painful moment of separation,
When it was time to part,
We returned with a heavy heart,
Today life is full of commitments,
And too many worries,
But those cherished moments,
will leave forever in our memories.

Dear friend
We would like to introduce ourselves as “shiksha foundation” a foundation, on the lines of an NGO, meant for the unprivileged and destitute children of our society.
We firmly believe in the epitaph that every human being deserves a bare minimum level of dignity and respect, money or not. Thus, we endeavor in this direction by helping the urchins to realize their self- esteem thereby falling into a different bracket altogether, obviously with time and affection from people like you and me who are blessed enough to read this message, so unlike them. But that is the point anyway as we want to fill this gorge between us and them and mate it an individual and non-discriminated “WE”.
To make this improbable things happen, we organized various activities as camps indifferent schools, numerous fun-filled programmes as teaching, handicrafts (the sample of which can be accessed and bought from us any time), motivational, cultural, magazines etc.
Coming to this letter, it is an appeal to your benevolent soul to help us in this cause (dare we say it “noble”!) in whichever way you deem fit. We are planning to distribute toys to kids who are admitted in a hospital lunging for their lives so that we can make a difference in their lives so that we can make a difference in their lives (howsoever small it is, it never hurt trying, isn’t it!) thereby bringing a gleam of hope on this otherwise glum faces (yeah we know it is like stretching the things a bit farther but that still remains the reality, isn’t it? Moreover, it is to bring out the desired effect!). We would like to see the smiles which come on their faces once (for a change…)
Thus, be the touch-bearer of this purposeful event and contribute generously towards this noble cause.
